Jim Campbell is a documentary photographer, with over two decades of experience capturing life on film.
His photos tackle humanitarian issues, and his photography portfolio uses compelling imagery, contextualising each shoot with brief keyword descriptions of the issues he is documenting.
Jim comes from a family of four generations of photographers, Jim is the third generation on that historic list.
A proud native of Wexford town in the southeast of Ireland. Campbell studied photography at the Dublin Institute of Technology in Kevin Street and Temple Bar in Dublin in 1995.
Following his graduation in 1998 with a National Diploma in Photography, he began his career working for a local newspaper covering news and sports events which included some major national and International breaking news stories.
Campbell's work has appeared in many local, national, and international newspapers and magazines worldwide, from hardcopy newspapers to online editions.
His dedication to his work is second to none; Jim is as passionate about photography today as he was the first day he picked up a camera as a young teenager.
